      <image:title>Services - Heritage Conservation</image:title>
<image:caption>This is where it can get very philosophical. The answer for each project varies but generally we try to keep as much old fabric as possible and sympathetically blend new where it cannot be saved. Often we mix this almost museological approach with new contemporary additions. Saving the old but with all the modern world too.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - Design + Build</image:title>
<image:caption>Does it really need explanation? We work closely with a regular team of designers, engineers and architects to figure out and then execute your project. It is the main method of work for us and all of the projects highlighted have come from that very process.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - General Contracting</image:title>
<image:caption>You bring us designs, preferably ready for permit, and we figure how to make it all happen. We can’t promise there won’t be some misunderstandings between the construction team and the design professionals (see the above section for how we normally try to deal with that). We do also separately offer design services with no expectation or clause that we must be used as builders too.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - About Geordie</image:title>
<image:caption>I studied Architecture at the University of Waterloo and went to Willowbank School of restoration arts while working in both Architecture Firms and in the Construction Industry. Just cleaning up construction sites, Cedar and copper roofing, timber framing, Drafting hospitals and large heritage projects, honestly this isn’t a resume you get the idea. My background in all these various (honestly too many) things led some friends to ask me to start my business, they realized before I did that my talents lay between all these things as a problem solver. Making meaning in the world brings me joy and even when it doesn’t it’s very nice to have things come together and get clean at the end of the day (or year, some projects take time).</image:caption>
